MIRANDA LAMBERT’s FOUR THE RECORD EARNS GRAMMY NOMINATION FOR BEST COUNTRY ALBUM

Miranda Lambert’s Four The Record scores a Grammy nomination for Best Country Album. Earlier this year it won Album of the Year from the Academy of Country Music. Four The Record has yielded the hit songs, “Fastest Girl In Town,” “Baggage Claim” and “Over You,” which was awarded Song of the Year at last month’s CMA Awards. Miranda wrote the song with her husband Blake Shelton.

“My albums are my heart and soul,” said Miranda. “To know that the music I make is appreciated means the world to me and a Grammy nomination is a giant hug that never ends. Thanks so much. What an honor!”

The reigning CMA and ACM Female of the Year Vocalist has had a busy year with her “On Fire” Tour playing to more than one million fans and she recently opened a boutique lifestyle store in her adopted home town of Tishomingo, OK.

“We’ve had so much fun this year,” said Miranda. “I got to play my music all across the country for the best fans in world, drive a race car, play a part on my favorite TV show, sing at the Super Bowl with my husband, open a store, it’s been amazing.”

Miranda will finish up the year in Las Vegas on Monday where she will present an award at the American Country Awards. The show airs on Fox. Miranda will be “Locked & Reloaded” starting January 17 when her tour with friend and fellow Grammy nominee Dierks Bentley kicks off in Columbia, SC.
