Jake Owen Nominated for Top New Male Vocalist

Nashville, TN – A day after celebrating his third consecutive Top 20 hit with “Something About A Woman,” Jake Owen receives a nomination for Top New Male Vocalist at this year’s Academy of Country Music Awards (ACM). Since the launch of his debut album Startin’ With Me, Owen has celebrated a Top 15 hit with his debut single “Yee Haw” and a Top 10 with the touching “Startin’ With Me.”

“This is incredible,” shared Jake Owen. “A few years ago I was playing in college bars and now to be nominated for an ACM – I’m truly humbled and speechless.”

Owen who wrote or co-wrote all 11 tracks on Startin’ With Me has also proven to be an incredible entertainer touring with Kenny Chesney, Brad Paisley, Carrie Underwood, Alan Jackson, Brooks & Dunn and most recently Sugarland and Little Big Town.
